How CRT Certification Works

TIMBRUM uses CRT (Causal Resolution via Topology) to certify physical objects. Unlike blockchain, CRT doesn't need consensus, tokens, or gas fees. The proof lives in the data itself — mathematically verifiable by anyone, forever.

What you get

WHAT — SHA3-512 hash of your photo (the object's fingerprint)
WHEN — ISO timestamp anchored in the CRT chain
WHERE — GPS coordinates + IP geolocation
CHAIN — Position in append-only hash chain with Merkle absence proof
VERIFY — Anyone can recompute. No authority needed.

Why this is different

Blockchain needs tokens, gas, wallets, and block confirmation. CRT needs a browser. The certification is instant, free, and survives infrastructure shutdown. Zero consensus messages. The proof is a property of the data, not a service you subscribe to.
